Boats
Boat Dives
The Club will be providing a minimum of 4 boats for divers who don't have a Club boat
Spaces on each of the Clubs boat's will be on a first come first serve basis and will cost €15, so early booking is advised on each day
Divers travelling as a group, who will need a GUSAC boat space allocation, are not guaranteed that the group will get spaces on the same boat. We will try our best to facilitate everyone, but sometimes it is not possible.
The registration desk whiteboard will have all boats and sites times
BYOB - Bring You Own Boat
We encourage clubs to please bring your own boat where possible.
When attending the rally please inform our registration desk so we can register the boat for the weekend with our DO
The camp site will include space for storing boat trailers
Please aim to have boats in the water for 8.30am on Saturday
Alternatively, there will be a limited number of moorings available on first come first serve basis for those who arrive early or those who wish to tie up against the pier
We will pair off boats which are not familiar with the area with one of the Club boats so that you can be sure that you hit the right location
All Divers are required to wear life-jackets.
Bottle Refills
Bottle Refills
The schedule below is designed to ensure that you can avail of each planned dive over the weekend
We strongly encourage divers to come with pre-filled bottles
Please bring 2 bottles if you wish to make the most of the dives available
Cost will be €5 - payable at the registration desk
There will be a designated drop-off & collection point near the Club Trailer
Due to the distance and time taken, bottles will be returned after the subsequent dive, so we suggest that each diver bring a minimum of two bottles, so while one is away being filled you can go on the next dive.
Bottles must be in test as per CFT Regulations.
Turnaround time
Turnaround time
The refill schedule is designed to ensure your bottle will be available for the subsequent dive (or Dive #2 from the Friday refill), but it does take time to travel to & return our Clubhouse
While we will make every effort to ensure bottles are available on time, depending on the number of bottles to be refilled this might not be feasible with only two compressors and expected no. of attendees
If your bottles are not in the designated spot, they can only be taken at the next available time slot
